The GENLS Program

GENLS is a self-contained errors-in-variables nonlinear least-squares fitting program. It does not require a separate manual, and it is appropriate when there are significant errors in the data of both the dependent and the independent variables.

Download the self-extracting file GENLSC.EXE and run it in an appropriate subdirectory on your hard disk to produce all needed GENLS FORTRAN, executable, and example files.

Begin by reading the file README.GLS. The operation of GENLS is self-explanatory, but more information about the field to which it applies may be found in a paper published in American Journal of Physics 69(1992)66.
